Show off your A1C (or not)

I'm just curious about others numbers ....there are so many differences between us all and my recent numbers weren't great but they were't that bad either

My last A1C was 8.1 on 9/8/08

I was 10.6 in 7/20

2months later 8.3.

since then I have started met 2x a day 500mg and my numbers started to rise!!!!!!! However, my idiot phychiatrist prescribed seroquel which I have been taking up untill today, which i found out raises blood sugar. I mean I have diabetes because I took Zyprexa and so they stopped the zyprexa, and started seroquel which has the same affect.
my life is now dedicated to informing people about antiphychotic drugs and diabetes.

September 2008: 6.4 -- and I think that is GREAT!!! I know many people on here would not be pleased with a 6.4, but I am for sure!

Doctor visit and A1c today, as it happens

A1c 5.1, last time 5.2

Total Cholesterol 132 previous 140 normal 0 -200

LDL 77 previous 89 normal 0 - 135

HDL 39 previous 37 normal 40 - 60

Triglycerides 80 previous 70 normal 30 - 150

The improved cholesterol is due to switching from Tricor to Lovaza. Lovaza has the same stuff as fish oil capsules, but 7 x as concentrated.

I did a 50 day trial of Lovaza with samples, clearly it is an improvement. I am taking 2 a day.

I'm really upset with mine. 8.4 up from last time's 7.5. I had a bad wound infection just before test, so I'm hoping this is what put it up. I've worked so hard, it's really got me down.

Really an A1c is just a number, don't get too hung up on it . We all have good quarters and bad quarters. My A1c is 6.2.
