This lancet has a built in vacuum feature for alternate site testing. Thomas has been using it for months he says it is painless compared to finger sticks.

I've used it before. I like alternative testing, but this isn't the device I normally use. It's good, but the look of it scares me. Might be nice to try if you normally have trouble getting blood from alternative sites. i have sensitive skin, so that's never a problem for me. |

I have found my other alternative site devices less painful, but of course everyone is different. It could be the type of lancets he uses too. Something I always found odd about it was that it is sort of weird to change depth settings. How did Thomas get his? |

Thomas' endo recommended it so we searched the web and ordered it from Bayer. He is actually getting another one in the mail tomorrow. He uses it so much (only about 7-8 months old) he wore it out - they are replacing it for free. |
