The GlucoMON

This cool new glucometer is a remote monitoring system capable of transmitting BG readings via text messages, emails, or pages to caregivers and/or health care teams. Check it out at Diabetech .

hehehe.. that's funny. Yes, I have to agree -- perhaps it would be a good way of forcing a person to avoid yummy things! It would probably work on me if the numbers were sent to my fiance! P

Hmmmmm now that I think about it, I wonder how effective that would be on ppl who have an addiction to donuts?!?

Seriously though, it looks like a great idea for parents and caregivers. Just think of all the times it'd get you out of work early

I wonder about the privacy of the system. I also wonder if you can use any meter, or just the onetouch Ultra. I saw something like this before, but I don't think it was the same thing.
