Iphone apps?

I got a free application from Itunes. It's called Glucose Bud. All it does is help log all information: BS readings, Medications, Exercise and Food.

Is there anybody that can recommend a better app? when I searched there are about 6 that are for sale.

Any recommendations, thank you.

HI
I use Glucose Buddy and think it is really very very good.. quick to use, intuitive and not full of bugs...
I also bought GC Pro because it advertised that it did graphs of all readings.. which was totally not true.. it only does what Glucose buddy does and although it has a huge database for foods it was useless IMO as you can only use one food at a time.. it was difficult to use..slow and very buggy..I told them so and they did not bother to reply..whereas when I told glucose buddy about a bug I got a reply back within 24 hrs. I actually deleted gc pro, as I will never use it over GB...
Only thing I would like on GB is the better graphing... but you can't beat free....

loseit

There is a free app called Loseit that allows you to look up pretty much any food in existence and see carbs, calories, etc... It also lets you keep logs of what you eat.

not what you're looking for, I know, but we like being able to get data on food

I wish there was an app like that for Blackberry - The one thing I miss about my Palm Treo was that calorie king had a great database that was easy to search but they only make it for palm devices

Since Smiths Medical has given up, I hope there will be more options available in 2 or 3 years - if not I may just go back to MDI

I just recently got Diabetes Pilot. It was about $12, but so far its been worth it. It has a lot of features, built in food database, and is customizable. I havent been a good diabetic in the past, but this has been a godsend in helping me juice myself up. In 2 weeks of use I am already seeing massive improvements in my levels and my energy-definitely worth $12 for that alone!

What's tm?

For carb counts, you are far better off going to a website like CalorieKing.com.au - Australian Online Diet and weight loss club. Lose weight for good! and searching on it than trusting anyone here No need to join, just use the search box on the right hand side of the page.

It's an extensive database but it is an Australian site. If something can't be found that seems generic and might be in there under a different name, feel free to ask about what else it might be called
