| Enjoy your cruise! We had one in December. You may find you have even better blood sugar control because of all the walking you'll be doing and the lack of everyday stresses. There are TONS of great food options as well. There were several s/f options...I didn't have any of them, preferring just having a bite or two of whatever dessert hubby ordered, or having a cheese plate at meal's end instead of dessert. I usually manage to lose a little weight on a cruise because i'm much more active then.
I'd encourage you to continue testing. Test your fasting level, then test before and after your evening meals. You don't want to get out of the habit of testing....it's too easy to cheat that way, as you don't see the results of your actions unless you test.
Make sure you take along a bottle of water on your excursions, and perhaps a cereal bar or some peanuts in your purse, just in case you need a quick boost.
