125 this morning. Eh. Soooooo much improved but I got real excited by that 99 a few days ago. Heading out to walk in a few minutes. Just waiting for it to be a tad lighter out. I'm glad to be back at it after skipping yesterday's walk.
This is a discussion on Morning wake up readings - Part 7 within the Monitoring forums, part of the Staying Healthy category; 90 for me, this morning....

How did you get your numbers down so well? My husband was diagnosed Type 2 three years ago. Numbers stay at about the A1c 6.2 range but morning numbers are from 120 to 160. They have been high from the start and the only high numbers of the day. Can not consistently get them down. Lost 25 pounds, exercises daily. Was on Metformin 1500, 2 pills 750 at night with dinner. Endo changed to 50/1000 Janumet, now last time changed to 50/500 Janumet but taking two with dinner. She wanted Januvia part to be higher, now morning readings going higher and higher each day. Diet has not changed and still exercises, any ideas for supplements or something we should or should not do.
82 this morning
Trying to retrace my steps from last night so I can repeat this.

Thank you. They were. My bsls have been pretty consistent during the day- usually between 80-120. Mornings are my most difficult times. And yes, eating late at night almost ensures high morning bsls for me. Thanks for the advice and kind thoughts. I managed to end my last meal last night by 7pm and still found my fbg over 100.Gonna try the metformin tonight. Also trying hard to lose, lose weight.
btw- Great job with the weight loss!
Wish me luck everyone!

Ugh, 112 this morning after 101 last night. I'm pretty sure these higher numbers are from not exercising much in the past week. I hate seeing anything over 100.![]()
