| | | Meter Cases I use the One Touch Ultra Smart, it has the funky clear plastic cover over the face of the meter so you can read it without taking the meter out of the case. However I find that if I don't take the meter out of the case it's just plain awkward!
Only problem the clear plastic quickly tears and looks pretty ratty.
So..... do you take your meter out of it's case when you test? or do you leave it in? Enquiring minds would like to know

| | | I leave the meter in and have had the meter and same case for about 2, maybe 3, years now. The plastic cover has not torn yet and the only time I ever take the meter out is to upload the results to the computer. I don't find it awkward at all to test within the case.

| | I leave it in the case. I use the freestyle flash. I actually find that it is more of a hassle taking the meter out of the case to test just because sometimes that plastic just doesn't want to let the meter go....lol Can't say that I've had issues with akwardness when leaving it in the case. Sometimes, I have to move the zipper out of the way, but that is about it.

| | | I use freestyle mini and I take it out. I've never thaught about the plastic ripping but I find it less awkward taking it out. I do wish they made one that was easy to keep in the case.

| | | I remove the meter from the case. I tried leaving an UltraSmart meter in the case but the plastic damaged the face of the meter so I no longer put it under the plastic. I have to be a little more careful when opening the case to make sure the meter doesn't slip out.
