discount testing strips?

Hey me again, any idea where I can get discount testing strips? My insurence will only cover 150/ month. I am testing 8x daily. I am just burning thru them.Thanks

Did you call the insurance company? Ask them how you can appeal their limit. Ask your doctor to to send a note to the insurance co. for 250/month.

Thats something everyone here wants to know. There is a small differnce in cost between brands, but nothing like true "discount strips."
That's why meters are cheap or free; it's using the meters that is expensive!

I have clue where to get strips.

but on a similar topic, when I switched meters last year, I had a ton of test strips left over of my old meter. I tried EVERYWHERE to find out a place that would take my unopened strips, every medical centre. no one would! they told me to throw them out!

I Next time I am going to offer them online here to someone who can use them. unfortunately, I didn't think of it at the time.
