| | | I still wish they would revamp their strips a little to take a little less blood and possibly even make them so they work 99% of the time. On occasion, maybe twice a week, I still get the error 5 (not enough blood.)

Basically it was approved within a month of them submitting it for review and the FDA said since it was "substantially equilavalent in design" to the One Touch Ultra that there was no need for further testing.

What I would really like to see is strips that take less blood. 1 ul is not cutting edge anymore. |

| | | What I really don't get about this is, if you want before and after meal averages and a backlight, why not get the ultrasmart? You can really get either one for free, then the strips cost the same amount. |

I ALWAYS get a large drop of blood to make sure I have enough but I get the error 5, too. I know it's not because of too little blood because of the large drop I start with. The stupid window is full, so it must be something else.

That annoys me as well. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
