| Accu-Chek Comfort Curve Test Strip Recall
I'm not sure if this has been posted already but just FYI,
I got a letter from my mail order prescription service that Roche has put out a recall on Accu-Chek Comfort Curve test strips marketed recently. They did not give a specific time frame, but said that they sent the letter to me since I had received an order within the past six months.
Apparently tiny hair-like strands of plastic on the top of the strip containers can possibly prevent an air tight seal, allowing air and/or moisture into the vial. If hair-like strands are found do NOT use the strips, as erroneous high or low readings may result. Call 1-800-858-8072 for a replacement.
