Trimethoprim

I've got some anti-biotics for an infection today.

She gave me Trimethoprim but i forgot to ask if it would affect my BS at all...

has anyone else used this before and does it affect blood sugar? Just so i know what to expect if anything!

If you have an infection then the likelyhood is that your blood sugar will go up anyway so just make sure your keep an eye on your blood sugars.

i must have had the infection for a week or so before i noticed anything to worry about. and my blood sugars have been OK (considering i've been adjusting recently).

But today for some reason im running a little higher than usual... 9's & 10's.... i dont mind 8's so much as long as it's an 8 and coming down.

i just forgot to ask the the doctor if it would affect BS at all.
