Januvia/Janumet

I've had two experiences with Januvia/Janumet.

1st time was about a year ago, I was taking it and metformin. Worked great for a week or two then my BS started going back up. Stopped taking the Januvia.

Now I'm on Lantus(35 units once a day at 11pm) and Janumet once in the AM and once in the PM. First week was remarkable. I had BS 90-105 each AM and never went over 140 all day. Now In the 2nd week I have BS in the 95-135 range in the AM and going into 185+ after eating. What happened? I'm eating the same things?

This is the second time this has happened to me with Januvia. Anyone else out there experience this?

This is really frustrating!

Also had a positive side effect of pretty much losing my appetite.
