Extremely high cholesterol with my diabetes
My cholesterol was extremely high when I was diagnosed a year ago. I take Niaspan at night 500 mg.
My question is does anyone take any herbs for cholesterol and do you have any success lowering your cholesterol with them?
My cholesterol was over 600. I know that is very high. I have people in my family with it over 1000. It is hereditary.. not necessarily diet.

Also, has anyone used the herb "GUGGUL ?"

The best thing you can doe is exercise. Exercise is the best medicine when it come to cholesterol.

Diet control only!
Currently 177 lbs, A1C 5.6, cholesterol 160, LDL 95,HDL
53, triglycerides 37. BP 110/70
