Medication Question

Anyone have any experience with Gloucophage XR, Lotrel or Atenlol? I seem to have slowed down considerably at a time when I should really be exercising heavy duty. Thanks.

I took Glucophage (metformin ER) with no problems, stopping only when I started Byetta.

The Glucophage will help your body better utilize the insulin you're producing. ER is for extended-release. It just means that it takes longer for it to reach its daily peak than regular metformin...which to many means less problems with potential gastric side effects.

Along with regular exercise, this should help keep your #s stable.

I took Atenlol for many years. It is a Beta Blocker and does slow you down.
