That's great. I added byetta and dropped my metformin dose down a bit. Lot's less problems with the metformin side effects now.

The metformin side effects seem to be offset by the byetta side effects Without going into details, I seem to have found a happy, regular medium...

I didn't think about the Metformin that way(about switching up the doses). I'll go back to taking what I'm supposed to at night. I'm just so paranoid about dying in my sleep. I am a Dawner, however, so that's probably not anything to worry about. What does it feel like to wake up in the middle of the night LOW?
That's just about the funniest thing I've ever read on here.

Waking up low = cold sweat, instantly alert, going what's going on.. what happened.. ok my BG is low, sugar now. Then you relax and go back to bed.

Once you tweak your insulin levels you figure out what you need to stay in the acceptable range, while avoiding going hypo overnight.

All this stuff, this micromanagement, becomes second nature after a while. All these dumb lil things like night-hypo's are temporary things.
