When do I take my other meds using Byetta?

I've only been on Byetta 5 mcg for two weeks and I am confused about when I should take my other medications (8 in all). Should I take my medications in the morning and wait a few minutes before injecting Byetta or should I take them later?

I did have nausea for the first five days but that is gone now but I have not lost any weight nor do I have any appetite suppression although I think I eat a pretty healthy diet to begin with. Will I see weight loss when I step up to 10 mcg?

Please check with your doctor but here is what I do...
I inject Byetta before eating breakfast and then take my morning Metformin and daily vitamin after I've had a few bites of breakfast. In the evening I inject Byetta before eating supper and then have my evening Metformin dose after I've eaten a few bites of supper. One thing that helped me at first was to take Byetta 45 minutes before eating - it was surprising how much it suppressed my appetite. Good luck to you!

What type of meds are you on? I agree that you should check with your doctor, but some folks may be able to give you an idea as well, knowing which type of meds.

I have been on byetta for a month now and have lost 5 pounds. I inject an hour before lunch, and an hour before I eat supper. After I eat a meal, I feel very full and no longer want to snack like I used to. I was hoping to lose more weight, and I think I will when I start exercising better.

Sorry, I also meant to say that I take Metformin before my lunch, but not at the same time I take my Byetta. I take my other meds in the evening.
