Poor Kitty Cat Comes Down With H1N1 Swine Flu|SmartAboutHealth.Net

Washington (SmartAboutHealth) - A poor cat has been diagnosed officially with the H1N1 swine flu virus.

A cat in the state of Iowa has tested positive for the H1N1 swine flu virus after various tests were carried out by veterinarians in the area.
This has caused quite a bit of concern amongst those who own pets all across the U.S.

In the past, the H1N1 swine flu was known to be common among pigs, but it was thought that pets such as cats and dogs would be safe, until now.

It now appears that the virus could truly spread through pets, and could lead to an eventual pandemic.

The owers of the cat reportedly has flu like symptoms before the cat become ill with the H1N1 swine flu. It is now believed that the cat caught the swine flu from its owners.

Again, the real danger here is that the swine flu could spread even more easily from pets to humans.

There have been over 6,000 deaths related to the swine flu over the recent months.
