Hi,

I'm not a parent, but when I was in hospital a few weeks ago (20-24) the doctors treating me arranged for a sweat test for CF.

Mostly to rule it out I think. I have asthma and was told CF can come on later in life if not severe, CF can mimic asthma, and the way my diabetes started is sort of like how diabetes begins in people with CF.

Anyway... I still haven't gotten around to it yet (the test) because the only place that does the sweat test here is the children's hospital + my GP needs to organise the test.

Sorry I can't help, since I am not familiar with cystic fibrosis but you must have your hands full dealing with both. You're in our prayers.

Hi there, I just joined the forum tonite so I am brand new to this and I apologize if I am not posting this correctly. I am a CF parent and my son has Type 1 CF Related Diabetes. He is 21, and became diabetic about 4 years ago.
