The Place For Parents

The ADA message board of which I have left and gone back to a number of times, only because I feel I may relate better to other parents of children with diabetes has been a great disappointment. For that matter the ADA advocacy department has ignored two discrimination packets I have sent regarding school issues. They claim, "cure, care, commitment", yet through my experience, I have yet to find the care and commitment and leaves me wondering about the cure part. Have any of you had any experieinces with the American Diabetes Association?

My expierence has been nothing but wonderful with the ada message boards. I may not always agree with every opinion that someone has but that is going to be true of any message board. I have found a wealth of knowledge from the parents there. Everyone has their own way of dealing with diabetes, I love getting info from other parents on how they do things. If it applies to our situation, i try it, if not then i just let it go
