Even though the 2009 Children’s Congress is rapidly approaching on June 22, it’s never too early to start planning for the next Children’s Congress event in June of 2011.



Our first task is to make sure everyone who wants to apply can get an application conveniently. You can now text ‘CC11’ to 56333 to sign-up to automatically receive a CC11 application.



No more having to watch our website or check your email waiting for the application to be posted. If you text ‘CC11’ to 56333, we’ll email you an application on June 22, 2010—exactly one year from the start of this year’s Children’s Congress and about a month before everyone else will see it.



Remember, the three main criteria for applying for the 2011 Children’s Congress are:



1. The applicant must have type 1 diabetes
2. The applicant must be between the ages of 4 and 17 in June of 2011
3. The applicant cannot have attended any previous Children’s Congress event



If you meet these three criteria, just text ‘CC11’ to 56333. Standard text messaging rates will apply.
