Januvia appears to be messing with my thyroid, I'm on Bayetta now.

I had a Dr. visit today. I've been on Januvia + Metformin since May. My A1c went down from 7.8 to 7.0, BUT my thyroid is acting up and the Dr. thinks it's from the Januvia so I had a thyroid test done and I'm off the Januvia and on Bayetta!
I'll post my results from using Bayetta, I'm going to wait until this weekend to start since I have no clue how it will affect me.

I wanted to give a heads up to all who are on Januvia. Make sure your Dr. is thorough and get your thyroid tested!!!!!!!!
If I didn't switch Dr.'s this would not have been detected.
