I, too, have recently had a problem (several actually) with the 522. I've had to send 2 back for button problems - they stick and become inoperable. I was sent a 3rd 522 today and am really anxious to start pumping with it considering the history of the last 2 I had. They both quit after about 30 days of use and both had button error problems - the buttons just kept getting stuck.

My old pump, the 512, is still working like a charm and the only reason I got the new one was that the old one was out of warranty and I was convinced to get a new one.

I read RAYHJ's comments on the high sugar and I had a similar problem with the 2nd pump they sent me, but I just didn't equate it with the pump. I just thought I was eating too many Christmas cookies. But in retrospect, after reading his account of high sugars for no apparent reason, I wonder if ny pump wasn't also malfunctioning. It took me practically 24 hours to get the sugar down, no matter how much I pumped.

Any thoughts?

Can't help you out but my 522 is working fine now. I had a software problem at about 2 months and the new one came and it has been working fine for almost a year now. No button problems or anything. Just keeps on ticking.
