Hypoglycemia and fainting?

I was just looking up hypo stuff, and realized that the stuff going on with me has been going on longer than I originally thought (I thought it was just the last year/year and a half).

I had a few episodes almost 2 years ago now that I think were bad hypo episodes.

All three happened at about the same time (early morning) while I was waiting for the bus. I would be standing there, then I'd get really shaky and nauseous, then I'd feel really heavy, then burn up and start sweating (drops of sweat) and then "blacked out", I don't think I went unconscious, because I remember hearing stuff around me (it sounded like it was underwater, though), but everything was black and I couldn't see for a few minutes. I was always extremely exhausted afterwards. Mind you, I had never had anything like this happen to me before a couple years ago.

Does that sound right for a bad hypo? Curious!

Could be.

Or maybe postural hypotension (low blood pressure due to standing up?). I had that when I was young and thin and had low BP ...

But wouldn't that happen if you were going from sitting to standing? The times it occured, I was up for the day for at least an hour before walking to the bus. My BP has always been fine. I was curious to know if hypo's can have the same symptoms as a BP drop?

Low BP & low gucose symptoms

For me the same symptoms. Some times it happens together and the double whammy really puts me down for a while. I have a falling blood pressure problem as well as glucose intolerance. I didn't know I had the BP problem because we thought the cause of the episodes was the glucose falling until my very smart Dr. figured something else was going on.
