I completely agree with both Jan and the Barbarian. My average body temperature is 99.0 - 99.5. I am a very hot natured person who just happens to also be very insulin resistant. In other words... no, the temp shouldn't really be part of the resistance problem. The thyroid (well, the entire endocrine system) is responsible for maintaining your body temperature.
If you are having issues, consult with your Endo. if you don't have an Endo, request one. Even if you are pre-diabetic you should be taking your health very seriously now, so as to avoid problems down the road.
BTW, there are a lot of us, myself included, that use the CPAP. How do you like yours? I won't sleep (or even nap) without mine.
