OGTT~can u make your own at home?

I have not had an OGTT, but am curious if you can do your own experiment at home and basically do this yourself.

I'm just asking if, I can check my FBS, then eat a bunch of sugar (say donuts or drink Kool-aid) and then check my BS 1 hour and 2 hours later.

To test for Diabetes, not gestational. I had four babies and never had it, although once I barely passed the repeat test.

I suppose I"m living in the limbo of, do I have D, pre-D or nothing? All I'm going off is an elevated A1C and some wacky swings after dinner. I was told to come back in 6 months for a repeat A1C. I'm impatient. LOL

Yes, you can make a solution from glucose tabs and do it with your own meter. There is a simple protocol on Blood Sugar 101 website

Well that did not come up but there is this:

Am I Diabetic? How to Test Your Own Blood Sugar To Find Out
