IV3000's 2 years past expiration...

don't adhere nearly as well as "fresh" ones. I've been using IV3000's on and off for about 10 years with no problems, but. the current box I'm using expired in 2004, which may explain why they lift off my skin when I remove the plastic backing. Anyone else experience poor adhesion with outdated dressings?

Hmmmmm good point. I am using up old ones also and they aren't sticking too well. Maybe that is the reason. LOL

NO NO NO...it is not you or the fact the adhesive is old....they changed the way they made it a few years back due to the tape was NOT environmentally friendly. I discovered this problem this summer while at the pool and DAILY my tape would just peel off....so I called MiniMed and they told me about the change, sent me a sample of different adhesive products etc....I ended up ordering the Polyskin which works very well for me.

Do you know what year they changed? I'd already heard about that, but I believe the box I'm using is from the same batch that worked fine over a year ago. ie it's because they have been sitting around too long. The box I have was mfgr'd Oct, 2001. I think that's before the change.
