Needle Truth

I just opened my new Animas pump kit to get ready for my training next week and the needles looks pretty **** big. So truth please, how much more does it hurt than the pen needles? I'm thin so need to hear from other thin folks.

I ordered the inset.

That's not for injecting into your body! It's for refilling the cartridges...

I think he means the inset needles. They hurt more than pen needles for me, but still not much. The inset goes in fast and then it just stings for a sec, then it's behind you for 3 days.

Jan, I use the 9mm Insets with no discomfort. I would say for me it is no worse then a pen needle.

pain for me is LESS because I can't feel it after it's in nor can I feel it injecting me.
