Cozmo/Carb Question

Sydney, 13, is using the Cozmo (12 days now) and I need an opinion from you pumpers on her varying carb meals/snacks. She is not a big eater and her carbs vary daily. Would it help us if she would eat a more consistent carb meal/snack everyday OR is this one reason we pump (flexibility)? Maybe we need to consider her food combinations? OR What do you think about the Glycemic Index? We haven't got a handle on the sugars yet!

Thats the beauty of the pump

Once you get the basals right you simply count the carbs
If its 20 put in 20 - if its 120 put in 120 the pump figures out the rest.

Currently using a Cozmo - Just received my second.
Also just received Freestyle Navigator. Its a little funny having a blue tooth transmitter on my belly.
Wish I had started pumping 10 years ago

It useful to try set carb amounts till basals and carb ratios are set, then it's fine to vary all you want.

I'm not a Cozmo user but I'm a pumper!

I went on a pump more for flexibility than anything else. If I want to have a large breakfast that has 40g carbs, I can. If I'm not hungry, I don't have to eat or I'll have a low-carb yogurt of 3g. It's the same for lunch & dinner. One day I may eat a total of 80-100g of carbs, and the next day eat 60g or less.
