Congrats on getting the 522! | ARGH! They accidently sent me a 722 I'm on the phone with the returns department right now- they're going to overnight the correct one, and UPS pick up the old one tomorrow.
I'm bummed that I have to wait again, but glad that they're willing to make the exchange as painless as possible. At least I don't have to run to UPS to ship it back, and I'll still have it in time for my start-up appointment next week.

Out of curiosity, what made you opt for the 522 instead of the 722? I used to have the MM 512...but since switching, I've always thought that if I ever went back to MM, I'd opt for the 7xx series. I figure having the extra room would come in more handy if my daily requirements increase.

| | | I love my mm 722 in purple.. I always wear purple and if I am not wearing purple, I just tuck it into something.. its easy enough to hide...I am not buying expensive skins.. gimme a break 20 dollars for a piece of plastic. They can take it and shove it..cute as they are they are not worth the price...

| | Switching I'm considering a few things. Has anyone switched from MiniMed to one of the Animas pumps? What was your experience like? |

I debated that exact thing Dewey and opted for the 7xx model. I think it probably was a good choice for me as I use about 40 units per day. BUT....I also push the length of time that I keep a canula in also. I had to start forcing myself only to put in 200u when I refill so I can't keep it in for four days.

| | | Are we still debating this? If you don't get the Clear 722, you can't be cool. It's true, it's science.
