| | | MM clear Paradigm, why so many choose it ? Ive noticed so many on here have opted for the MM clear pump. I will be choosing a new pump soon, perhaps tomorrow and am wondering if I may want to switch from the smoke Ive worn for 6 years to clear. What is it about the clear that makes it so popular? Maybe can see more of the reservoir, doesnt show scratches as easily, less noticeable on the belt. Please tell me what you like about the clear pump ! Why did you choose it ? Thanks, Dan |

| | | Not sure exactly why the clear is so popular, I opted for the "blue" myself. But I also get the skins...the kids at my daughter's day care will verify that it's the coolest ever..."Anna's Mom, you have the coolest cell phone, it's better than my Dad's!"

| | | Because...only cool people select the clear. And the ultra-cool people select the Clear 722 over the Clear 522. It's true. It's science.

| | | Hmmmmm I chose the clear because I liked it. I guess the colors didn't go with all the clothes I wear (I had a blue 508). I just liked it the best.

| | | The clear one I had has been my favorite. I had a blue pump, then the clear, then when I upgraded from the 715 to the 722, I (for some unknown reason) picked charcoal. I think I liked it because of it was just less fussy. No real benefit as far as performance. Honestly I think I'd like a pearly white one.

| | For the curious....here are the colors. MiniMed Paradigm® Colors
My second choice would be the purple one, but I think I liked the clear for the "clean" look.

I think the clear is more popular b/c it is more "adult" I liked my blue one when I had it, but now...8 years later it seems kid-like to me. I suppose if you REALLY like blue or purple, go for it. But what about everyone else? How about bringing the green back? (I think there was a green 507 or 508.) Or what about red or yellow or orange? It can't be that hard to mold the different colors of plastic. If you're going to make color options, at least have some to choose from.

| | Both my MM pumps have been "smoke" but I must admit I just got matching skins for my new pump and meter in the "Crayola Crayons" theme Contour Link Meter ~ Skins...
