Have you switched from MiniMed to Animas?

I've heard that the Animas pumps are really good and less expensive. Has anyone switched from MiniMed to Animas? How has the Animas pump worked out for you?

Really hoping to get some great advice here. Thx

M.

I think the question would better be asked about what you like about your Animas pump. The answer can be found here Pump Comparisons.....All about pumps/companies

Many people have switched from one pump to another for various reasons. Read the above thread through and I think you will find the things that people like and dislike about their pumps.

I changed from the Animas to MM 722. 2 reasons 300 unit pump and the CGMS. After using the CGMS it worked, but I don't like the extra stuff hanging off me so I no longer us it. Other than the CGMS and the 300 units to me they are about the same. Animas has wonderful customer service.

Minimed and Animas arent the ones in conflict, usually there are minimed people and the battles are between cozmo and Animas they are alike in thier philosophys I think. Like notme said people made a good helpful list of comparisons you should look at it.

I changed from the Minimed 607 to the Animas IR1250. I like it for many reasons, but Minimed is also less friendly than it once was in regards to customer service.
