Then it did it again this morning so I got up and switched to my other hip(which now I'm afraid to lie on) but this old site stings right now SOOOOOOOO badly it's like a strong sting pain under my skin and i don't know how to stop it.

Are you still on antibiotics? I only had a painful sting once, and it was because I used a 9mm instead of 6mm canula. But that was while the canula was still in. It almost sounds like an infection??

I know I need to calm down and de-stress but I'm stressed about so many things right now, one of them being that I feel like a bad diabetic.

My cats calm me down a lot, just hanging w/them and taking deep and slow breaths! Is Maddy calming or wild?! .

Since starting the pump i eat way more carbs than i used to and I still need to do my basal testing but keep ...not doing it.

Most of have been "bad" -- give yourself a break . . . this is still new to you. Once in a while, I used to eat lots of carbs and bolus a lot. Sometimes it would work; sometimes not. To me, it's much easier to keep good bg control when eating fewer carbs. However, if you can eat lots of carbs and match the insulin well, it's not "bad"!

My main thing is that I need to excersize every day but I just can't seem to make myself get out and DO it. I go through swings of weeks where I will every day and then I stop...I don't mean to but life gets me cought up in it. I know I can do better but it's just so hard. Plus I'm nervous there are a couple other things ,un related to diabetes, wrong with me.

Baby steps! You don't have to get it all together at once. Get better at one thing until it's a habit, then move on to another challenge.

And I'm nervous about school starting because I have to take a speech class and I really don't like speaking in front of people. And I need a job.....GOSH!!!! Sorry for going on like this but GOOOOOOOOOOOAHHHHHSHHHSHHH!!!!!

I can understand & I'm so glad I'm not in school now!! I had a few speech classes, and I always felt sooooo nervous. The crazy thing was other people thought I had an easy time of it -- they couldn't feel my nerves. It's good practice speaking . . . I even joined Toastmasters and lost a bit of my uneasiness (only a bit!).

My site stings so badly...so nervous and worried about all of this!!!!!
I need my mommy

Baby steps!! Try to put all your stresses aside in a basket, then pull just one out at a time and deal with it . . . then move on. So easy to say, but not so easy to do!
=(

When I tried all the XXXXLog insulins, I found that some gave a large bump than others. I asked the doc about it and he said I might be sensitive to some of the solutions or preservatives that the different companies use in their insulins. The best for me was Humalog or Apidra. Novolog or NovoRapid left a large bump. Injections didn't seem to be a problem, just when I pumped them.

Well thank you!
And Jan Kitty Kat is one of my nick names so feel free!
I'm feeling much better now! My site finally stoped stinging and I am more relaxed and less nervous about everything. It will work out and come into place.
My boyfriend and I went to the Armstrong Redwoods today and hiked around for 2 hours and brought lunch. It was beautiful and really peaceful. I felt so much better when I got there. I also just finished cleaning my whole apartment with my friends and I feel loads better, I like to clean, so all is good now!
Everything you said jan is right and I am going to work on it one step at a time.
THANK YOU!!!!!!
Kitty Kat is much happier and feels taken care of =)

Oh and Jan Maddy is a calm cat. She has her wild moments but for the most part she is very sweet and loving. That's a good idea to pet her! And my kitten too is very very sweet and cuddley.

Kitty Kat,

Nilla (baby Cracker Top) and Maddy are gorgeous!!! Mine give me a lot of love, peace and laughs. I can't imagine one of mine wearing crackers . . . I really need to take some new pictures. Not sure I can match yours though.

I'm so glad you are feeling better; your day yesterday sounds like a lot of fun. I still haven't gotten to enjoy the Redwoods. I've only been to L.A. one time and I really look forward to seeing more of California.

I hope you have a great Sunday KK

Well you better see more of CA because LA does not do it justice. I personally do not like the LA area because of all the car smog and so many cars and freeways and people....but one side of my family lives there so I do go ever so often. It's fun for a visit, you must come to Northern CA!
Well enjoy your sunday as well =)
