I got a letter today from Medtronic saying that they are in the process of shipping out the free OneTouch UltraLink meters to those of us that don't have 722 or 522's with CGMS. The letter states that we should have them anytime from now until the end of August. If you haven't recieved yours by then to call 1-800-646-4633. To check on the status of your meter you can go to

Medtronic also suggested getting your strip Rx and getting strips for use when your meter arrives. I think I will do that.

I didn't get a letter. I just got a 722 and I did receive an UltraLink meter, but my 715 is still under warranty as well (until April 2009) and I want a Link meter for that, just in case. Because the first batch of Link meters have letters in the serial codes they won't work on the x15 models, because you can only enter numeric serial numbers in those pumps.
