| | | I use the low profile clip and I have broken one in two years. I am on my second and so far it is holding up fine.
With my last pump, I bought one of the cell phone holders that was elastic on either side. You couldn't see through the holder, but it was easy to just pull the pump out and bolus and then slid it back in. It had a low profile swivel clip. Go to lots of stores and check out all the different universal cell phone holders. You will find one that works for you. |

| | | I like the low profile clip and mine is still going after 3+ years. I just upgraded to the 722 (from 715) so now I have an extra clip just in case. I know my luck won't last forever. I've used the holster clip a few times but prefer the smaller one.

| | | I like those ones so much when mine broke (under extreme duress) I ordered a couple of spare from MM, I think it was about $24 for 2 in total (probably $20 US). Don't quote me though. Havn't had to use them yet, but nice to know they are there and ready to go.

| | | In the first year on the pump, two holsters have broken. The first one broke within the first month and when I called for a replacement I was told the "clip one" has a warranty and the "holster one" does not. So I had to buy another holster. Then shortly later the swivel mechanism on that wore out too. I epoxied it together so now it does not swivel but it works. I use the belt holster one all the time and the clip one at night time sleeping. |

| | | My clip broke late last year and I called my local mini-med rep and he sent me a new one in the mail, free of charge.

I'm going to be very interested to see what MM says when I call them Monday.
The first one broke where the little tab is that securely clips the pump in place. Then, the swivel mechanism went out, so it was always swivelling down and then, since it wasn't clipped in, it fell out. Extremely annoying.
I ordered 2 more. The first replacement broke at that little tab again just before I was going on a major fishing trip, so I started using the second replacement. Guess what...that little tab is broken again. Aargh. I guess I'm gonna have to order 4, because they are perfect for me - when they work.
I sure would like to get more than about 3 months out of these things. That seems to be about my average, so far, though.

| | I used to have the exact same problems. I have since stopped using the clips for that very reason. I had two of them that I broke within a couple of days of buying them. They are just crappy. There is no sugarcoating it...lol
What I use is called the leg thing. And, this is ESPECIALLY good if you are really active. Do a google search for it. It is just an elastic or spandex band (depending on which one you go with) and you wear it on your leg. Tubing doesn't get caught on anything cuz it is all under your clothes. And, it doesn't slip at all. I have been using these for about 3 years now, and they are just great. And, if you are crafty, you could really just make it yourself. And, another great thing about it is that it is not too tight or anything (and I have huge calfs, so that proves that it is not too tight ) and it is seamless so it doesn't rub and irritate your skin.
And, the most wonderful thing of all is that since it is made out of durable spandex, it lasts a long time and it doesn't break!! Whoo Hoo!!!! It will save you a lot of money in the long run not having to buy tons of clips all the time. Best of Luck!

| | | I had the same trouble. I finally went to target and bought a leather cell ohone pouch on clearance for like $5. Works much better than the MM clips. Plus, with black leather, I can wear it with just about any clothes (jeans & T-shirt, or suit and tie).

| | So I called Minimed and they sent me a replacement once since I just ordered this last one in march... so they are shipping me one and plus palefacegirl03 was kind enough to send me another one for free (very nice of her)
I should be covered for a little while... I'll try my best not to break them | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
