Good luck Jenn!

I hope you like it. Just be prepared for a few little kinks the first month or so. And if you seem high for no reason, make sure you verify the canula is IN you! Also, the IV3000 really helps prevent bruising.

Congratulations! I've been pumping for 3 years and using the CGMS for less than 3 weeks and I love it so far! I've had a few frustrations but it's been mostly smooth.

Sounds like a good plan. Besides cgms, are you gonna do things differently then when you used to pump, I guess from going back to shots, have you noticed anything that may hold an advantage now....

Good luck, Jenn. I'm sure you'll be fine. If you're anything like me, your only regret will be that you didn't do it sooner...

And then a little pump floats by
And now my pants are filled with tubes
That tangle all around my.... er .... knees

The hours I'm hooked up? All twenty four
And that's it for now until evermore
But I disconnect for up to an hour
For wonderful fun (and sometimes a shower)

And when I 'suspend' it, it plays Barry White
And my wife knows she's in for one heck of a night
But only an hour of that night is with me
As an hour is all I'm allowed now, you see...

Good luck! I'm 2 weeks in and things are going pretty well. Things are more predictable on a pump.

Jenn, I'm so happy that you are going back on a pump. I hope it was a smooth re-transition back to it. Good luck with the CGMS.
