Call the 24 hour help line. They don't actually put all the specific codes in the manual. The number tells them what kind of problem the pump is having. Sometimes it is a software problem. Other times it has to do with all the internal safety checks the pump does constantly. They will be able to tell you whether you can keep using the pump or should switch to shots. They can also set you up with a replacement pump if need be.

Kendall is right. Minimed replaced my 508 pump when it got static blasted by their nylon bag and started giving weird error codes. I had the replacement the next day.

Thanks I will give then a call, but htat still does not explain why you can not find out what the error codes means. They should at least give a brief description and a listin of the error codes.

Because if there's an error code in a pump that you can't fix, you don't need to know about it. Why should you needt o know your pump just had the pumping mechanism fail? Or that it just shorted itself out? And with all the errors possible if they did list them all...

1) It would add another 30 pages to the manual.
2) Out of warranty people would probably try to fix the pump themselves which it the dumbest thing one could do depending on the error.
