batteries

Hey all
It has been awhile since I have been on. first of all let me start off by saying that I was on the animas pump since 06. I is a great pump but I switched to the cozmo 3 weeks ago because it holds more insulin in the cartridge than the animas. So far so good except 1 little thing the battery life is horrible.
I was wanting to know if you could use lithium in the cozmo. I didnt see anywhere in the manual that you couldnt but I didnt see anywhere that you could either.. I dint want to mess it up. If anybody knows the answer I would greatly appreiciate it.
THANKS

You can use lithium but the battery indicator won't be correct and may cause the batteries to apear to die "suddenly." I believe Dewey used lithiums in her Cozmo.

The instructions say quite clearly do not use lithium.
The alki batteries last 4 weeks in my pump with no problems.
I buy them when on special offer so works out very well with the buy 4 get 4 free offers.
