Minimed sells them for $12/box. If you order through the online web store shipping is free. You don't need a Minimed pump to set up an account and order.

I do appreciate the heads up.
IV prep, active ingrediant is Isopropyl Alcohol 70%

So yes they do have alcohol .

I used IV preps (made by Smith & Nephew) for years. Now I just change sites after I get out of shower. So i am not worried about it being clean. I thought my sets would move around w/o using the wipes but have not had a problem.

I did get an extra sense of security from the IV Prep Wipes!

they are re-working the product and I was told that it will be temporarily unavailable. I have ordered skin prep for the time being.

Have you tried not using IV Prep? Just to see if you really need it?
When I first started pumping I was told a lot of things and I found out that I didn't need to do them, this being one of them. I have not used anything on my sites before I stick a new one in after a shower and it will stay put for three days.
Normally I change every two days but sometimes on the third day the edge of the sticky pad will start to roll over and that simply reminds me it is time to change the site anyway.

Thumbs up I use the I.V. Prep

The reson that MaccDog gives is the reson that I use I.V. Prep. My sites start to roll up if I dont use it. I can use a site for more than three days if I use it. If I don't I'm lucky if I get two before the edges roll up and they start looking dirty. If they look dirty they are full of nasties that I don't want near my infusion site.
This is my experiance and is not medical advise. I have been pumping for more than twenty years and I have used many products for skin prep. I. V. Prep has worked the best for me so far. If a new product comes out I will try it though. That is how I got connected to the I. V. Prep. I tried a new product and found that it worked.

Different people have different skin, different sensitivities and even different sets require different adhesives. I *have* to use the IV prep for the Insets or by day 2 they're coming off. If I use it with an Orbit, the set doesn't stick at all. I always change after a shower. I hate the gooey nasties the IV prep with the Insets leave behind, but it works for me.

I hope the reformulation works as well!
