I tried this several times before phoning the helpline.

Turns out Vista was not compatible with the driver installation procedure.

I've got it all working now. However, my feelings for Vista have not been improved in the slightest!

If you have Vista 64 I don't think there is a driver available.

I got a new computer in September that came with Vista and made only one attempt at getting Carelink to work, and it didn't. How do you tell what kind of Vista you have (as in Vista 64)? I've just been uploading my pump at work because I never have time in the morning to call Minimed's help line.

I have Vista and it's worked fine. Are you sure the dog-slow old version of Java that is required is not the issue?
