Who still has there Cozmo?
Who has upgraded and to which pump and why?

I'm thinking of upgrading to the Ping. My has it and I have played with it and like it. I also went with her to look at the MM and O-pod pumps.

My Cozmo has a crack in clear insulin resivor viewer.

Still have my Cozmo, but use my Paradigm 522 now just cause support and ordering supplies is less iffy. I loved my Cozmo and missed it dearly. Upgraded to 522 for the CGMS, which I never use now.

I use my Cozmo and will do for the next 2 years as still under warranty. There's no problem with supplies in the UK.

Is your pump still under warranty? If so, you may want to call about that crack. You may also want to keep it away from water because the crack can let water into the pump and really mess it up. If your pump is no longer under warranty, then you definitely want to keep it away from water!

I recently replaced my beloved Cozmo with a Paradigm 722. I went to the 722 because of the CGMS and like the Cozmo it has a 300 unit reservoir. I DO miss Cozmo's hypo-manager.

.
My Cozmo has been out of warranty for about 2 years, since my insurance company will not approve another pump without "documentation of pump failure". This is fine with me, since I love the Cozmo. It has several cracks in the case, but keeps on kicking. I am hoping a new pump model comes out before mine dies, since I don't really see one out there at this time that I think I will like as well as what I have.

Yeah my warrenty is expired like 2 years ago.
I have noticed a recent thing where I get a no delivery while bolusing. I have had that 4 times now in the past month. (Never have before.)

I did call my insurance to see if there is a prequiste(sp?). I know when my mom got her Ping she had to give a month worth of BS's testing like 4 times a day. The guy on the phone said since I have a pump I don't need one. Better to call and make sure just in case.

Miss Cozmo's site change reminder and saved/named temp basals/boluses.

*sigh*

Far prefer Paradigm's shape and clip.

still using mine about 2 years or more on warranty and backup in the drawer

hopefully a better option will be available in 2 years - but with the economy and Baracks health care I doubt it

Wish I had started pumping 15 years ago

Since Smiths Medical has given up, I hope there will be more options available in 2 or 3 years - if not I may just go back to MDI
