| | | Never ripped one out. (knock on wood)
Dropped it to the length of the tubing quite a few times.
Don't you just love that momentary panic feeling you get when you know it's falling and you are just waiting to see what happens!

| | | On the dropping it item. Been there done that.
I have continually set my pump on a counter, in the bathroom, bedroom on a dresser, and in the kitchen counter. and I keep forgetting I did not re-clip it onto my cloths. So far nothing has come undone, but it has hit the floor many a time.
Very nerve wracking experiences!

| | | i've never had a site ripped out ... thank god. that would hurt so much since it takes me forever to get them out when its time for a site change. the tape on the quicksets is seriously sticky, at least for me anyways.
i probably drop my pump several times a week. especially if i'm wearing it in a pants pocket, it always seems to be making a run for it!

| | 1 has happened once. But it wasn't me, it was my cat My pump did a bungyjump from my pocket and my cat was there faster than anything else and just pulled the set out
2 happens at least once every day when i'm on the pump Though it never actually hits the floor since i'm using the 60cm tubing

| | | I've never ripped one out....... yet.
I've dropped my pump a few times in the last 8 months, but it's never hit the floor as I use the short tubing. |

And what happens if you run out of insulin before your infusion site is due for a change?

i use a 1.10 basal rate so thats like 26.4 units a day i think so i was going to take it down low before i changed it but couldnt.

| | | Mine ripped out once. It was more frustrating than painful.
Never dropped it (yet).
One time (5 minutes after changing site) I got tubing caught in car door. The tubing is esilient but no match for a door slam!
