| I sometimes reuse the tubing for my Cozmo, and did for my 508 as well. But you have to "suck" the insulin in the tubing back into the reservoir first, or else you probably get a nice air bubble about 15-20 units in. I find this saves a decent amount of insulin, but I'd only do it every other change...Week-old insulin at room temp worries me, even if it is diluted by fresher insulin.
HOWEVER, be very careful if you do this...make sure your hands are properly sanitized, make sure the changing area is clean, etc.
