My pump is on the way

I saw my new endo today. He basically said I am an ideal candidate for the pump. He had me see the trainer today. She had me put in a comfort set, which was ok, but I still think I want a 90 degree set. Then doctor signed the form. On my first visit.

He has no idea what type I am, but put me down as type 1 for now, told me I am definite not typical type 2, and told me even if blood work shows I'm type 2, I'm staying on pump. Yay!

I can't believe he signed form first visit, but he told me I am an ideal candidate, which was awesome.

If all goes well I'll be on insulin in two weeks.

Well first off congrats on the pump. And I think we must be twins because your story does sound very much the same as my story. I am sure tho you will enjoy that pump.

Yay!!!!

Congrats, I'm sure you'll enjoy pumping. You've definitely done your homework. I assume you got the Cozmo?

Yeah, the 90 degrees are better... but we've already been over that.

Congratulations! Soon you will be a member of the "Pumpers Club". My endo was the same way.......told him I wanted to go on the pump on a Thursday and Friday he had signed the paperwork and faxed it over to Mini Med. Within three weeks I was pumping!

I asked her what she is going to name her Cozmo and she hadn't come up with any thing yet. So lets help her out.

Suggestions:
Ol Drippy (what I named mine, so that's taken)
Lil Squirt

Others....???
