| | | New Cozmo Case I get home from work and guess what is on my front door step..... the new Cozmo case promised if you fill out the survey. So what do I think? Well I have only had it 10 minutes, but... Nice:
- No flap
- Extra stretchy material in the back so it fits a little better with the Cozmonitor attached
- Belt clip has a swivel action Not so nice:
- No more clear plastic window over buttons or screen. I liked that part. At least in my mind that helps prevent scratches to the screen and any errent drops of fluid that may hit it (what ever that fluid may be)
- The belt clip is not detatchable, which is what I was wanting
- The belt clip has a bigger lip at the top, so it seems to stick into your side a little more My conclusion: I will continue to order the "flap" model and cut the flap off, but that is my personal preference. I guess you can't have it all.
Anyone else gotten theirs yet?

I don't want to get the keys or display messed up. For now I'll keep using the old case.

FrankDr, I remember when you joined that you were interested in diving while pumping. After some discussion on the forum about amusement park rides, depressurized planes, etc., I thought about you. Specifically, about diving with the pump since I have always wanted to take up diving.
You might want to contact your pump manufacturer before deciding to go diving with your pump to ensure it is safe to do so... |

I agree they should have the clear over the buttons and at least something over the screen so you don't sratch it.
edit: I keep going to unclip the flap b/c my other one has the flap. I like the flap b/c I stretched it out.

Anyone else gotten theirs yet? | I got mine yesterday....It was a pleasant surprise, seeing as how I wasn't feeling so hot. I totally agree with you about the nice & not-so-nice parts (about the plastic missing).
Anywho, I'm hoping that their future generations of cases include some other ideas (i.e. rubberized skins like for iPods & cell phones) or at least one with both the leather & clear plastic integrated. That would be cool.

I was mostly worried about the infusion set getting contaminated with salt water. Right now I'm using the Cleo 90 sets. It appears to be sealed pretty well, but I was hoping to find someone who has already tried it out under those conditions.
Thanks

Thanks | I've not used your particular sets, but the sets that MM makes have not been compromised (even including the easy-to-fall-off Soft Sets) by my swimming in the ocean. In my experience, the only activity that can cause fast deterioration of the site is a hot tub, due to the 100+ temps loosening the adhesives on IV3000 and Soft Sets. I'm not sure that the current crop of sets suffer from warm water as badly as the Soft Sets. I'm not much of a fan of hot tubs so I haven't tried either the Quick Sets or Sure-T's in one. |

| | | I'm unimpressed. The new case still sticks WAY out like the old one. I'm going to keep wearing mine in my pocket for now.

| | | Mine got here the other day....thought I would try it out....it looked pretty good. I have no idea where my old case is, never used it because it made the pump too bulky for my pocket or the camera case on my belt. Well, the new one, when clipped to my jeans pocket, made the tubing stick out just enough that it snagged on everything I got near: drawer pulls in the kitchen, backdoor knob, gate latch, etc. I discovered that if the tubing gets snagged and stretched hard enough it causes air bubbles! I'll either figure it out or send this case to live with the old one, wherever that may be.

| | | Why doesn't one of us pumpers make a new case and sell them to other pumpers or modify the old ones for a small cost or soemthing?
