| | | Great pizza!!! This is great!!!
1. Low carb Mission Tortillia (s)
2. Tomato sauce
3. Any topping (s) you want.
4. Cheese (shreaded).
5. Olive Oil
Spread some olive oil on one side of tortillia. Place in skillet. Allow to brown (get crisp). Add your tomato sauce. Add all of the toppings you want. Top with cheese and melt in oven on broil. Remove and enjoy!!!
Each Low-Carb tortilla has about 5 grams of carbs (TOTAL) YUMMM!!! |

| | | I love making pizza on tortillas, or pita bread or low carb flatbread. I use fat free shredded cheese and turkey pepperoni most times. It's not even close to the real thing but it does calm the pizza craving.

| | | I need to try that! I miss pizza, but my Japanese is quite poor and ordering pizza is really stressful. They always try to sell extra things and I can't respond to the questions well. And pizza always causes that icky blood sugar rise that I hate, but don't want to over-treat. Home made pizza is the answer!! Thanks.

| | I'm a weirdo when it comes to pizza...and I love making the tortilla ones
I usually use a sweet sauce(I know, bad)...or, no sauce at all...w/ just the cheese and hot peppers. Eri LOVES it that way as well, on the wheat tortilla shells.

| | Great Pizza - I love the toppings!!! I love all the toppings I can put on the pizza I make. I usually use Prego for the sauce....... I usually will put some sort of meat and lots of veggies such as purple onion, olives, bell pepper, red pepper, anything that is a veggie. Most pizza places will charge extra for the toppings, but when you do your own, it's all free!!!! Plus, you hanve your own individualized pizza.
Oh!!! The tortillias come in different sizes. Be sure to get the Low-Carb ones....I like them better than the regular ones!!!! Clee |

| | | Another way of cooking this pizza is on your gas grill. No need to use a skillet and an oven.
I preheat the grill on low and then spray the cooking grates with PAM.
I brush one side of the tortilla with olive oil and let it grill for a minute or two, then flip it over, add all of the toppings, close the cover, and let it cook until the cheese is bubbly.

| | George Foreman grills work out great
We had one guy, on Superbowl Sunday this year, order a sheet pizza with EVERYTHING but, I believe, Anchoivies and pineapple. The extra toppings cost more than the pizza!!!! Talk about one, big, HUGE and HEAVY sheet pizza(18"x24")...you name it(aside from the two items listed above) it was on there!

| | | I made the pizza on the grill again tonight. Instead of using pizza sauce, I used olive oil and garlic and then added cheese, olives and sun dried tomatoes. I tested at 91 before eating 3 tortilla pizza's, bolused for 25 grams of carbs which is 2.5 units of insulin, and two hours later I tested at 86. I could never ever eat real pizza and be that low!
