Wanted - Soy Shake recipe

Anyone have a recipe for super lo carb soy shakes? I have been drinking those diet ones that are 1 carb, but they are ridiculously expensive. Everything I mix up tastes like crud, and settles out the whey or soy stuff really badly - any ideas?

Joe

I'm not sure how many carbs you are looking for. Here's one I was thinking might be good but haven't tried:

1 cup soy milk
2 scoops unflavored soy protein power
Little bit of Coffee
Sugar Free flavored syrup
ice
splenda (?)

voila...frappachino! - 8 g protein
you could also try it by substituting some water for the soy milk to lower the # of carbs and see if it tastes good. Let me know!!!

I use soymilk w/1 cup strawberries & 2 scoops soy protein power - 21 g

BTW, the unflavored soy protein power doesn't taste like anything...just blends into the taste of the other ingredients. It's great!

Strawberry ice shake, good and fast.

I received a similar one from my youngest daughter though I haven't tried it yet.

Strawberry ice shake, serves 4 people...

Ingredients:
10-12 Ice cubes
1 1/2 cup strawberry flavored soy powder
1/2 cup soy milk
2 cups strawberries
Splenda to taste

How to make it:
Put in all ingredients, except soy powder, mix in blender until thoroughly mixed then add soy powder last and blend some more. It can keep in refridgerator up to 3 days in a sealed container and will still taste good. Reblend for a couple of seconds after removing from the fridge.

If you make it let me know how it tastes!

Steve
