outstanding peanut butter cookie

Magical Peanut Butter cookie - Paula Deene (believe it or not)
made of peanut better, egg and splenda, vanilla - very good . I like them slightly frozen - they hold together a little better since there is no flour in the recipe

This is truly an awsome cookie...I have the recipe posted under the recipe portion of the forum...we have it a lot. I saw it on a Paula Deane show and have shared it with many people...have never found anyone who didn't like it!

Talking

I followed the directions EXACTLY. They tasted like....... well, let's just say..... they were HORRIBLE to me. Splenda just does NOT taste right to me. I refuse to eat that much Sweet-n-Low/Equal too.

Bleh........ Yuck. I don't even like Splenda in coffee, tea, or anything. It just tastes weird to me.

I'm not a Splenda fan, but these sound GREAT. Paula Deen's recipes are soooo good! Although this is the first one I've seen that didn't have a few pounds of butter

I have tried this recipe and it is delicious. I really like it because of the Splenda. I like using Splenda because it has a taste more like real sugar and does not leave an after bitter taste in your mouth, even my 7 year old grandson likes it and he has a sweet tooth beyond belief.

Exactly what I was thinking (about the butter) that paul sure does love just a little stick of butta!!

These cookies sound sweet - can't wait to try 'em!

You are so right, Paula loves her butter, and I love Paula - her stuff looks amazing, and her 2 sons aren't bad either

So true They're almost as yummy as her buttery cooking

She had them on one episode and they made this corn chowder. I tried it with half as much butter and fat-free half and half and it was to die for. SOOoooo good!
