| | | banana split dessert... This is yummy...good spring/summer dessert
1 pkg. s/f vanilla or banana pudding
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 sliced banana
1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp s/f chocolate syrup
1 8oz tub of Cool Whip (s/f or regular, not much difference carb-wise).
Make pudding according to directions.
In bowl or glass, layer in the following order:
pudding, strawberries, bananas, more pudding, cool whip, pecans, chocolate syrup. Refrigerate for an hr before serving.
**This is very pretty in a parfait glass or in a small trifle bowl. You can also crumble up a few graham crackers and sprinkle over pudding layer, but this will add more carbs.

Its a nice treat. If you can't tolerate bananas, i'd definitely use the banana pudding and leave out the actual bananas.

| | | OH OH OH ... YUMMY YUMMY!!!! Ok, I'm going to have to try this one. Who needs the chocolate on top .... I don't think it's necessary. Thank you for this great recipe, my hubby really deserves a dessert and he has been so tolerant of our house not having any in quite some time now!
