broccoli salad

This is one of my favorites--here's how I make broccoli salad:

fresh broccoli
fresh cauliflower
sunflower seeds
raisins
Bacos or real bacon pieces
red onion (chopped)
Miracle Whip Lite or mayonnaise
red wine vinegar
Splenda

Cut up the broccoli and cauliflower into small bite-size pieces and put into a bowl. Put in enough mayonnaise to cover it all, add a splash of red wine vinegar and a couple of packets of Splenda. (No, I don't really measure any of it. ) Stir it all up and throw in some sunflower seeds, raisins, chopped red onion and bacon pieces.

It will taste better the next day. You can change whatever ingredients you want; this is kind of a combination of all the different broccoli salad recipes I've seen. You could also use grapes, cashews, peanuts, golden raisins, white onion, peas, shredded cheese; whatever you want. Bon appetit!

This looks really good. I think I'll make it for the weekend and do some grilling. Thanks for sharing.
