Vanilla Frosty and chicken nuggets...

...was what I really wanted for lunch today. And I was 20 ft away from Wendy's. But I had tuna and lettuce instead

Booooooo! Dieting stinks!!!!! The bf's oh so supportive response was "Dieting does stink. You wanna go to Wendy's?" I didn't go, because I don't want to look scary in a bathing suit this summer.

But it got me thinking... Wouldn't it be so nice if just one day a year I could eat whatever I wanted and it wouldn't go straight to my ***???

I hear ya, Claire, and feel sorry for your poor butt as well...

Nothing sucks harder than having my wife call me at 5, and tell me the kids want White Castle... with vanilla shakes... and I'll have a salad with cheese or chicken... maybe a couple sliders with no top buns.

If there were only White Castles and grubs left on earth, I'd eat the grubs in shame, but stare at the sliders with contempt... deadly little fun bombs of pancreatic torment!

Chocolate Frosty:
Junior size: 161 calories; 3.9g fat; 27.8g carbs
Small: 324 calories; 7.8g fat; 55.8g carbs
Medium: 426 calories; 10.2g fat; 73.3g carbs
Large: 540 calories; 13g fat; 93g carbs

Several years ago the Wendy's by my job had a guy out on the street handing out coupons for a free Junior size. I got several coupons and enjoyed the Frosties very much. The Junior size makes a decent treat without having numbers that are too awful.

OMG. White Castle. I'm homesick! White Casket! Belly Bombers! Murderburgers! Ohhhhhh, their chocolate shakes!!!!!!!

My favorite locations were on Pennsylvania Avenue in Brooklyn, or on East Fordham Road in da Bronx.

You can buy 'em in the frozen section of the supermarkets here in LA, but it's just blasphemous. You GOTTA have them cooked on location.

Ah.....memories!

I would have passed on the Frosty but I would have ordered the chicken nuggets! A four piece has approximately 10g of carbs and a 6 piece has 15g. That comes down to 2.5g each.

A frosty sounds DELICIOUS. I am a huge ice cream fan of any kind. I found a place not far away that has soft serve yogurt. Non fat and no sugar. They do a different flavor every day. Very very good and easy on your blood sugar.

I can pass up the frosty....it's the burger on bun and fries that i'd want....we don't have White Castle around here...never had one, but we do have Krystal...which i've heard is about the same thing....we call them gut bombs....small square steamed buns with onions, mustard and pickle....one has 16 carbs....but who could eat only one!!!!!???!!! I'd want 4!

Krystals are good, but noticeably saltier than White Castles.
